Tom Borax is a baltimore-based multi-media artist and instrumentalist. He uses a modular synthesizer to create small electronic ecosystems to react and play in. His work deals with extreme dynamics, frantic rhythms, and dissonant combinations of mathematical and animalistic/intuitive language. He has been active in improvised and experimental music and helped found the High Zero Festival in 1999. He has performed and show his works throughout North America and Europe. He has played in the uncategorizable groups Leprechaun Catering and Snacks for over a decade.
