Reese Williams is a sound artist and practitioner of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, working in Rhinebeck and New York City. His explorations with sound involve creating “fields of sound” for installation, for download on the internet or for performance settings. Underlying all of his work is an interest in wave phenomena, micro-harmonics and micro-rhythmic events. His instrument is a laptop with simple digital tools, and his sound sources range from sine waves to diverse bits of audio grabbed from the internet.
