Kevin Dejewski is an experimental installation and sound artist from New York. He has received his BFA in Sculpture from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Dejewski had founded the Mid Hudson Art Collective where he has curated several exhibitions in the mid hudson region. He has shown across New York state as well as Chicago and Cleveland. Within his artwork Dejewski explores the dissection of information. Dissection involves disassembling an object or subject and observing its internal structure, as well as how it functions in relation to other objects and subjects. Cassettes, videos, digital recordings, films, books, poems, and photographs are dissected and reassembled into new vessels of information that explore the logic of the remix and its cultural benefits.
