Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and multimedia artist Eleanor Dubinsky writes soulful, heartfelt songs that express her passion for a diversity of people and cultures. She sings in English, French and Spanish, plays cello and guitar and her work spans from musical recordings and performances to multichannel sound, video, and dance installations. Originally from St. Louis, MO, Eleanor is based in New York City and graduated from Brown University with a degree in philosophy of education/art and social change. She recently returned from a tour through Portugal, Cape Verde, Senegal and Paris during which she had the immense pleasure of collaborating and performing with local musicians, inspiring new ideas for an upcoming record. Eleanor has two independent releases to date: Touch The Sky (2011) and Listen To The Music (2012). She also just completed Shifted, a new video/dance work with video artist Zlatko Cosic and choreographer Laura Ferro.
