Amy O’Leary

Amy O’Leary was the first audio producer ever hired by The New York Times in 2007, where her work has been nominated for two Emmy awards, and was part of the package that won the Times’s first Peabody award. At present, Amy is a News Editor for NYTimes.com where she plans and edits multimedia features and online coverage for a variety of news sections. Prior to this, Amy worked as a staff producer at “This American Life,” was the host and producer of “The Tristan Mysteries” at WNYC, and her radio work has appeared on a number of programs including “Studio 360 with Kurt Anderson,” “Radio Lab,” “On The Media,” and “Weekend America.” She is a graduate of the radio program at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and AIR Member since 2003.
