(Diane) Moser is a sublime and powerful musician who has the innate ability to draw things out of expert players that you haven’t heard them do before. She is currently on faculty at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA Music Composition Program. Moser has worked with numerous renowned artists and received many awards and grants for her work. Since 1996, she has been the music director and contributing composer pianist for her Diane Moser’s Composers Big Band. Moser brings an expertly-honed musical sensibility to all her composing and playing – one characterized by meticulous attention to detail and a strong lyrical voice.
