Viola Ruehse studied History of Art and German Language and Literature at the universities of Hamburg and Vienna. This was complemented by additional studies in museum management. One of her critical essays was granted the Bazon Brock Essay Award. She works as a researcher and course director at the DanubeU, Austria.
